1. Prayer is accompanied by obedience. Prayer is obedience, but it also requires obedience. If I am not obedient, then our prayers are in vain.

2. Prayer's answers involve waiting, isolation, and fasting. The most effective praying is done in secret, away from the world. We must lose sight of the world, of what steals our hearts the most. In our secret prayer life, we experience the presence of God the most. In our corporate prayer life, we experience the power of God the most.

3. Prayer is how we know God's will. God speaks to us through His Word; We talk to him through prayer.
